| LACQUERS engraving material softens at about 200°F
(93.33°C) sufficiently so that it can be bent as needed. It can be
sawed, drilled and bonded, but not sheared. For best appearance, sawed
edges should be buffed on material 1/8" (3.0mm) and thicker.
|
| The base and cap materials were tested for flammability by
Underwriters Laboratories. The base and cap materials are rated 94 HB
on the UL 94 test. The foil was judged as not contributing to the
combustion of the base material. |
| Prolonged tests in the laboratory to evaluate fading resulted in
no noticeable change in colors after 500 hours of exposure in the
Fade-O-Meter tester.
